Traditioneller Weintourismus wird im Domhof (http://www.weingut-domhof.de ) mit spielerischen Herausforderungen verbunden – das hat die Jury überzeugt. Denn im Rotweinkeller darf nicht mehr nur Wein probiert oder den Weinbau-Geschichten gelauscht werden, sondern er wird zum „Escape Room“: Als „Weinspione“ schlüpfen die Gäste in eine neue Rolle und erleben Wein auf eine ungewöhnliche Art. Die Kellertür fällt zu, der Timer startet und es bleiben genau 60 Minuten, um alle Rätsel zu lösen und das Geheimnis des Domhofs zu lüften. Während der kniffligen Erkundung des Kellers tauchen die Gäste ein in die Welt der Weinherstellung. Für dieses innovative Weintourismus-Erlebnis wird der Domhof mit dem Best of Wine Tourism-Award 2019 punkten. Das engagierte Weingut wurde in den Vorjahren bereits mit zwei Awards ausgezeichnet: 2018 in der Kategorie „Unterkunft“ sowie 2010 in der Kategorie „Architektur, Parks & Gärten“.

Traditional wine tourism is combined with playful challenges at the Domhof – that convinced the jury. Because in the red wine cellar you should not only try wine or listen to the winegrowing stories, but it also becomes an "escape room": as "wine spies", the guests slip into a new role and experience wine in an unusual way. The cellar door closes, the timer starts and it remains exactly 60 minutes to solve all the puzzles and to solve the mystery of the Domhof. During the tricky exploration of the cellar, guests immerse themselves in the world of winemaking. The Domhof won the regional Best Of Wine Tourism Award 2019 for this innovative wine tourism experience. The dedicated winery has already received two awards in previous years: 2018 in the category "Accommodation" and 2010 in the category "Architecture, Parks & Gardens”.
