Chris and Andrea Mullineux from Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines are known for the exceptional wines they hand craft from the granite- and schist-based soils of the Swartland. The winery has taken home the Platter’s Winery of the Year award three times in six years and their wines are sought after both locally and abroad. Chris and Andrea's approach to farming is to understand their terroir and figure out how they can best express that. In the end, their goal is always to make wines with a sense of place. By improving their vineyards, working with their growers, nurturing their team and honouring the land as faithful stewards, they push themselves to learn more, understand better and express their terroir above all else.
